Also recently there was news that Christopher Nolan&#8217;s next movie is about the Odyssey, and lots of people turn out to not know what that is, and there&#8217;s discourse about that that&#8217;s going to cycle around re: broader themes about literacy, ignorance, a decaying Western canon&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">8. an essay I was thinking about working on last night might be titled \u201cnarrative cycles\u201d or \u201cdiscourse cycles\u201d. I\u2019m currently too sick to do anything (seems to be a non-covid regular flu lol) so I\u2019ll just connect some dots and do some tweets maybe.
