For those of you who’ve known me for more than a few years- I used to write obsessively. Poetry, short stories, you name it. I remember attempting a novel about a guy named Cyrus Blackthorne and I was up to about 40,000 words… a big deal to a kid with a short attention span.<\/p>\n
I stopped sometime in 2003 when I was told that it wouldn’t amount to anything, and I deleted the entire folder of work I had in my computer. <\/p>\n
Since forming Armchair Critic in late 2006, I started writing songs, and I found myself enjoying it thoroughly. <\/p>\n
So while it’s rather painful to start something that I completely erased from my life, I’m going to try.<\/p>\n
These are for my friends, and there will be more soon. I love you guys, and I want to try and express that somehow. I don’t think I’m quite as comfortable or fluid as I used to be, but hopefully it will come back in time.<\/i><\/p>\n
