It never gets old: waking up at different times feels like inhabiting different worlds. Now I\u2019m thinking of God of War. Did I rush through that game too quickly, not play enough of the side quests, not explore enough of the world? It was good, but not Horizon good. (2024: I’m not sure I’d stand by with this? They’re good in different ways)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I\u2019m currently on the way to McDonalds for breakfast. I\u2019m wearing a green long sleeved shirt from Uniqlo – it\u2019s cheap and yet it\u2019s got this really nice cosy comforting texture about it. Cosiness is something I don\u2019t think I cared about very much growing up, and it was certainly something I didn\u2019t spend much time or energy optimising for when I left home, or started work. But it\u2019s certainly crept into my life lately. Lofi music on YouTube. Soft fabrics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I didn\u2019t have to bring my wallet to McDonald\u2019s – I paid with my phone. And they have table service now. The air conditioning is really cold. I wonder if I\u2019m dehydrated and\/or falling sick. I should really stop smoking but I\u2019ve been procrastinating on that. I\u2019ve been procrastinating on many things. I want to say that I\u2019m tired of procrastinating, but this seems to be a sort of holding pattern of a phrase to use. It\u2019s effectively meaningless. Almost everybody who\u2019s procrastinating will agree that they\u2019re tired of procrastinating. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
