Angry, grumpy immigrant man frustrated with young upstart. Eventually gets dementia. He’s a pretty important character in helping you see the protagonist’s moral development.<\/p>\n
The other one was the love interest \u2013 started out literally bumping into each other, swearing at each other, etc. Then they share a moment of vulnerability \u2013 why again? She sees his hands? She seems drawn to shitty dudes. I wonder if there was a woman on the writing team?<\/p>\n
